"Evert Taubes Terrass" Riddarholmen Tip by hevbell

Riddarholmen, Stockholm: 41 reviews and 96 photos

This terrace is situated on Riddarholmen, below the Wrangelska Palatset, with views over the Riddarfjarden. It gets its name from the bronze statue created in 1990, of famous Swedish poet, troubadour & song writer Evert Taube. Further along the terrace is Christer Berg's granite sculpture "Solbaten" [the Sun Boat]

While trying to get a picture of the Evert Taube statue without any cranes in the background, I realised that from certain angles his outstretched hand points directly at the tip of the Stadhuset

Directions: Riddarholmen, walk straight through Birger Jarls Torg & down the steps
