Hadrian's: "not wonderful..." Hadrian's Brasserie @ the Balmoral Tip by iaint

I had lunch here with a business networking group. It's a smart place in a prime location - in the Balmoral Hotel at the east end of Princes St.

The food was "mixed". My starter - lamb carpaccio - was really good, but a tiny portion. I was supposed to have beef as main course but our waiter (who looked & acted like a total nutball) got things confused and I had chicken pie. It was good, but the beef looked better.

Service was slow and "confused".

Disappointing in a place like that. 20 for 2 courses & coffee - a special menu for our group.

Favorite Dish: the lamb carpaccio...
