A small at the entrance of the village, at the feet of the mountain, with a view to the castle of Peyrepertuse. . . difficult to do better! The place is nicely laid out, there are trees with their shade, a small fountain and a landscaped garden (picture 2) where you can have a picnic. This “hostellerie” had a “Logis de France” label (picture 3), but has now a “Pays Cathare” label, still not fixed on the walls. Views around are very rural, peaceful.
Nothing special (except the location), in this hotel, it is also very quiet, specially if you have a room on the pedestrian side (picture 1), where I slept in basement room; the employees are very tactful, and everything is clean, in a rather big room (heating in winter, of course), flower decoration on bed sheets, etc. . . . A very nice, quiet clean hotel, in an old stone house (14 rooms), just a bit expensive, for its rural situation, but from there you can go to the castle by night. . . . .

One night, 66 Euros
