The Death Valley Museum is free of charge and is located inside the Furnace Creek Visitors Center. It is a nice place to take a break from the heat and learn about the valley and its inhabitants and history. This is also the meeting place for ranger-led activities.

Directions: On Highway 190 inside the Furnace Creek Visitors Center
