According to the NPS there are 1506 buildings in Utah designated as National Historic Places, some grouped into the 74 historic districts. From the smaller streets and homes of the Avenues area in SLC to the town of Bluff in the Southwestern corner there is architecture, archeology and history for those who look for it.

The entire town of Spring City in Central Utah is designated a historic district with 68 (at last count) historic buildings in only a little over one square mile. Mostly built in the latter half of the 19th century these homes and businesses continue to be dwelt in and used.
