Wetherspoons - The Commercial Rooms: "Cheap pub lunch in luxurious surroundings" Commercial Rooms, Wetherspoons pub Tip by illumina

This Wetherspoon pub is the former Bristol Commercial Rooms, a gentlemen's club and meeting place for the city's merchants, built in 1811. It's a lovely building and worth visiting for the architecture alone.

Wetherspoons is a chain, and therefore you will find the same menu in most locations, which means that at least you know what to expect. The food is cheap, and I've always found it to actually be very good. They do nice burgers, and things like lasagne and chilli are worth a try too. A meal usually costs between 5-10.
