Tremont Temple, Boston: 3 reviews and 8 photos

The Tremont Temple was once the Tremont Theatre; a popular playhouse in Boston. The current building was re-constructed in 1896 and is an impressive Greek Revival Structure. The theatre's popularity waned over sixteen years and was eventually sold to The Free Church Baptists. The Temple was now used for religious events but also had several public events held here.

The building is very beautiful and some intricate window arches. This was the first time I noticed the building when Liz pointed out the beautiful terrace of the building to me.

Address: 88 Tremont Street
