As many as 100,000 people are buried here, in this cemetery located in the northeast section of the Old Town area. We took a quick drive through the historic cemetery, checking out graves dating back to the mid 1800s, seeing the USS Maine Monument, and looking at the section of the cemetery dedicated to those who fought for Cuban independence (the area is called "A los martires de cuba").

This link: http://www.keywesttravelguide.com/key-west-cemetery-map.html has a great map with some entertaining and morbid stories about the cemetery and those who are forever entombed here.
