Rock of Cashel - Hore Abbey, Ireland: 33 reviews and 56 photos

Climb the Rock of Cashel and wander around the ancient ruins. This is the former royal site of the kings of Munster, and there are ruins of a huge cathedral and a round tower to match this.
The Rock is a limestone protrusion our of a fairly flat and fertile country. You can see this spectacular site from afar and it only gets more picturesque as you get closer.

Directions: Cashel is located in the couth of county Tipperary, between Dublin and Cork and about 2 hours by car from the capital.
