Ilfracombe is a resort at the north coast of Devon. It's pretty hilly, with narrow streets - we had some fun driving to our hotel! The coast there is very nice, rocky again, and from the Capstone Hill you have a great view on the town and the coast. The view only was disturbed by the Landmark Theatre which looks pretty ugly in my opinion! Nevertheless the seafront is nice and we could see a wonderful sunset from the top of Capstone Hill!

We unfortunately stayed only one night in Ilfracombe, but I know there's much more you can see, like an aquarium, a chocolate musuem, the tunnels beaches, and you can take a boat trip to Lundy Island!

Directions: At the north coast, 20 km north of Barnstaple.
