Lynton and Lynmouth are towns in the Exmoor National Park in the north of Devon. While Lynmouth is located at the sea between some cliffs, Lymmouth is located at the top of the cliffs. Both towns are connected by a Cliff Railway, a water powered lift.

The South West Coast Path passes this area, and the coastline there is really great, with its cliffs and rocks! What you should not miss is a visit to the Valley of Rocks with its interesting rock formations. There are several car parks in the valley (the one we parked at was closest to the sea and did cost 90p per hour/ 5 for over 5 hours, from 10-6pm), and you can spent quite some time walking around there! There's one rock called Castle Rock next to the sea that you can climb on, and the coastal path also offers great views. We also happened to see a goat, it seems they are pretty common in that valley.

Directions: North of Devon, between Minehead and Ilfracombe.
