Robert E. Callahan for his Mission Village in Culver City built this in 1927 for a tourist attraction and movie set. Like the Ramono Chapel the village had to be moved in 1963 due to freeway construction for the Santa Monica section. The building actually houses the desks, a blackboard, and a lectern dating back to 1858. It was donated by Mrs. Marion Callahan and moved to the Heritage Junction for everyone to enjoy.

The Saugus Train Station Museum is open Saturdays and Sundays (except holidays) from 1 to 4 p.m. The Kingsbury House is open for tours the first Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
