This shop is famous for its fresh sushi set, which costs 3500 Yen. You can spot this place easily as there would be a long snaking queuse outside its shopfront. We had to queue for about 40 - 45 minutes before we finally got a seat.

The sushi set has 7 pieces of sushi (sea urchin, squid, fatty tuna, medium fat tuna, shrimp, conger eel etc) and 6 smaller sushi rolls. It also comes with a bowl of miso soup cooked with shellfish.

Good, fresh sushi at a reasonable price.

Favorite Dish: I especially liked the uni sushi (sea urchin) as it is sweet and the texture is soft and melts-in-your-mouth. Hubby likes the fatty tuna sushi.

Address: Tsukijishijo
Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: It is 2 shops away from the other very famous restaurant in Tsukijishijo - Sushi Iwa. Both have long long queues of hungry people in front of their shops.
Price: US$31-40
Rating: 5
Theme: Japanese/Sushi
