The Apple Pan: "Interesting Experience, Great Pie" The Apple Pan Tip by SJTravel

The Apple Pan, Los Angeles: 3 reviews and 1 photos

This place serves burgers, fries, and pies, that is it. Although the menu is limited, it is worth the visit. If you dine in, you need to wait around for someone to finish their meal so that you can sit down. It is very unconventional, there are no real rules, so you have to keep your eyes open and really try to get a seat.

Favorite Dish: The burgers and fries are like any other place but the reason to go to the Apple Pan is for the experience and the pies. I visited on Christmas Eve and people were lined up buying pies (yes multiple) for their Christmas meals. I had the banana cream pie which was absolutely delicious. The apple pie is rather dry, but they give you extra juice on the side to have with the pie. A "regular" recommended the berry cream pie.
