"Jade Museum - if you like Jade, visit this museum" Jade Museum Tip by cafank

Jade Museum, Kuala Lumpur: 2 reviews and 1 photos

I only went here as I had some time to spare and I wanted to see how the musem compared to theHong Kong Jade market. It was a great couple of hours....

This was a lovely place to visit if you like jade or if you don't like jade. Not just a selling spot but it is a museum with lots of rare jade pieces and stories about jade itself. I was facinated as I really only knew a bit about jade and what it was used for from the Hong Kong market and other trips to China.

There are also other gemstones to be had - rough cut, polished and in jewellery.

You can certainly buy jade here in the form of jewellery and knick knacks and it priced looked OK (I have enough jade!!)

Open every day and free admission.

Address: 26 Jalan Delima KL
Directions: It's off Jalan Imbi, close to a bus station. I walked back from there to the Ritz Carlton for a drink!!!!
