This late Ottoman-period mosque was built in a Mamluke revival style. This was unique during the time when Ottoman architecture was the standard style, known for its more floral decorations and pencil-shaped minarets. This mosque carries the name of a wealthy Cairene who financed its construction. It is located in el-Gamaliyya neighbourhood on Sharia el-Gamaliyya, the narrow street between Bab el-Nasr and el-Azhar area.

Address: Sharia el-Gamaliyya
