"MOUNT GRAVATT LOOKOUT" Top 5 Page for this destination Look-outs Tip by balhannah
Look-outs, Brisbane: 5 reviews and 15 photos
This lookout is situated in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. It is only a short drive to its summit, passing through ferns and eucalypts. If you are feeling enegetic, you can walk one of the trails to the summit.
Located at the summit, is a new Cafe/Restaurant, it is not quite finished being built, but when it is, it will be a nice place, especially at night enjoying a meal and city lights.
From the lookout, there are good views of Brisbane inner city.
OPEN....From 6am to 11pm, then the gates are closed.
It is located only about 20mins from the city centre.
It is not one I would go out of my way to visit, but if you are in the area, it is worth the short trip to the summit. It is cooler in summer at the top!
Directions: Turn into Shire road from Logan Road. It is signposted with a Blue lookout sign
