The Samjhauta (friendship) express train between Delhi, India and Lahore, Pakistan. At present is is a twice-weekly service, Tuesdays and Fridays.
In the year 2000 there was an incident of bombing in the train causing many deaths but then there are bombing on roads also, all throughout the world. The train crosses via Wagah (Pakistan) border and Attari (India) border and Attari is only 25 kms from Amritsar.
