Paris Off The Beaten Path: 1,968 reviews and 4,171 photos
A narrow street running from rue Pastourelle to rue de Bretagne is a short cut down to the Marché des Enfants-Rouges passing a couple of interesting, typical Parisian bistrots. Just after the "Bistrot du Marais" is a black metal gate, if it's open, which leads to the market and a tiny public garden named for Madeleine de Scudery, poete, authoresse and courtisane, who at one time lived in the rue de Beauce and also rue des Oiseaux.
Filles du Calvaire and Temple are the closest metro.
