Jardin Real Hotel: "Aguas Calientes Hotel" Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu Hotel Tip by plannersis

We had reservations at another place and arrived to find only a small dribble of water in the bathroom so we inquired and found out they had a plumbing problem and a water line was broken....knowing this and thankful we had not paid for our stay in advance, we gave our regrets and walked next door - and found the Jardin Real, which was perfect for us. Reasonably priced, rooms available with working hot and cold water, and they were happy to accomodate us. Many lodgings in AC, but this one fit the bill for us.

Unique Qualities: Average facility with good firm bed; view was of rooftops and local huts....Sadly, a lot of noises in the night from dogs and cats and chickens who all seemed to go nuts and most windows in Peru are glass sitting against concrete with some kind of metal hinge and no insulation from noise at all.
