One of the most important train stations in Russia. Not only a stop to reach Lake Baikal but also the junction for Mongolia passengers. The station is huge and very nice pastel colored. For Trans Siberian Railways adventurers, Irkutsk is an important milestone. Some parts of movie "Trans Siberian" was also shot here.
