One of my favourite things to do in Auckland is to get out on the harbour on a nice sunny day and take in the fresh sea breeze and stunning harbour views.
Taking the ferry out to Waiheke Island is a good way to see an interesting number of the islands in the harbour from afar and also see the harbour bridge and city views as you leave and return.
