The Visitor centre is where all the walks start and finish from.
When I was there in October, there was a Photo exhibition of photos taken throughout the gardens. The gift shop has a big array of Botanical books, China plates beautifully painted with Flower & Bird designs. There were lots of nice items that I could have bought here.
It is here that you can take A FREE GUIDED WALK OF THE GARDENS, these are given by Volunteer guides.
They depart daily at 11am and 2pm
Electric scooters and manual wheelchairs can be hired from here.
Be aware, that the car-park is a ?Pay & Park? It is not expensive, only $1.40 per hour, you pay and display the voucher in the front window of your car so the Inspector can see it.
