Facilities at the rest areaby balhannah
Travelling in New south Wales just recently, we noticed the high standard of their rest areas.
They always are set well off the road, with plenty of parking area, lots of them had Toilets, Drinking water, picnic tables, and the upmarket ones, had bbq's and lovely children's playgrounds.
Rubbish bins are provided, so do the right thing, and put it in a bin, we like to keep Australia clean and beautiful.
They are positioned, so that you can pull in every 2 hours of your journey and have a break
Quite a few campers use them for free camping overnighters.
You may have to share the night with some semi-trailers.
