Driver Reviver in outback New south wales
by balhannah

Drive 2 hours and take a break, this is advertised as a way of hopefully helping to stop the carnage on Australian roads.

"Driver Reviver" canteens can be found open on Weekends, School holidays and Public Holidays, at intervals on your Road Trip - NOT AT ANY OTHER TIME.

They provide Coffee, Tea, cordial, Biscuits for a Gold coin donation, in other words for $1 or $2.
All run by volunteers, Free Public Toilets and Picnic tables and chairs are always nearby.

You never know where you may come across one, even in Outback New South Wales in a country Town with less than 100 people living there was a Driver Reviver located in an old Caravan. (see photo)

We stopped and had a chat, found out some info from the friendly Volunteer, stretched our legs, used the Toilets and were back on the road again feeling refreshed and ready to go further on our journey.
