This statue of Mae Thorani, the Thai Goddess of the Earth (borrowed from Hindu mythology's Dharani), stands in a white pavilion at the northern end of the Sanam Luang - the large field to the north of the Grand Palace. It was erected in the late 19th century by Rama V and originally attached to a well that provided drinking water to the public.

Address: North of Wat Phra Kaew
Directions: Opposite the Grand Palace.
