"Dancing House" Dancing House Tip by Raimix

Dancing House, Prague: 60 reviews and 85 photos

Dancing house was constructed in 1996. It is not typical building in Prague center due to its design and construction time (buildings around are more or less older). This one was built on site, where houses in World War II were destroyed.

The design of dancing house was made by Croatian ? Czech architect Vlado Milunic and Canadian architect Frank Gehry. The most typical thing for house is no symmetry, curved lines. It has other, funny names ? ?Drunk house? or ?Fred and Ginger? (dancer couple names).

This house is the one I could say modern architecture really works out well, making positively shocking feeling.

Address: Tancici dum, Rasinovo nabrezi, Praha 2
Directions: Walk from National Theatre along river to south.
