Haus Simone: "lovely apartment" Sankt Gallenkirch Hotel Tip by vtveen

In the year of 2009 we had an unexpected visit to St. Gallenkirch. Of course we tried to stay in our regular guesthouse (Haus Traversina), but this was fully booked. So we ‘moved’ a couple of hundred meters to one of the relatives of our hosts in Haus Simone.

Haus Simone is a rather small accommodation with only two apartments. We had the smaller one for two or three people with one bed/sitting room (just a small booth), modern kitchen and very neat bathroom. Both apartments are on the ground floor with direct access to a terrace (with chairs), which offer great views of the valley, mountains and St. Gallenkirch. Haus Simone is also located on the sunny side of the valley.

Although family Tschofen ‘just’ offer apartments for rent, we had breakfast as well in their home. This was very well with juice, various bread, fillings - with home made jams, egg , yoghurt and fruit. All was served on a nice decorated breakfast table.

All together we were very satisfied with our second accommodation in Montafon and for sure we will stay again if necessary.
