In order to reach the Buddong Waterfalls, you need a 4-wheel drive because the road is a dirt track and you have to drive for a few kilometres (about 1 hour) before reaching the entrance path of the waterfalls. From the entrance, you will need to walk about 15 minutes before reaching the top portion of the waterfalls (see photos). If you are more adventurous, the path will continue to the lower waterfalls and it will take about 1 hour going down.

The Buddong Waterfalls is within the Kosciusko National Park, which is a mountainous region consisting of the Snowy Mountains with some of the tallest mountains in mainland Australia. Mount Kosciusko, the tallest mountain in mainland Australia, is situated in this national park.
