BaoNecci: "The BEST Italian-Style Pizza in San Francisco!" Baonecci Ristorante Tip by SFHulaGIrl
Baonecci Ristorante, San Francisco: 1 reviews and 3 photos
This little restaurant on Green Street is cute & homey, with very friendly service. They have a little bit of everything -- omelettes, pizza, panini, antipasti, pasta, salads, desserts/pastries & coffee. You can't go wrong with their pizzas, chicken cacciatore, polenta or home-made cannoli. With nothing costing more than $15.95 (& that's for pizza), everything is quite affordable.
They open at 10:30 a.m. for lunch & at 5:30 p.m. for dinner.
Every Thursday night is "Dinner & a Movie Night" at BaoNecci starting at 7:00 p.m. For $20, you get to see an Italian movie with English subtitles, in addition to eating as much of that delicious pizza as your heart desires.
Favorite Dish: This is, hands down, my favorite Italian-style (Tuscan) pizza in San Francisco. My two preferred picks in that department are the BaoNecci Monte Bianco (San Marzano tomatoes, Fior de Latte mozzarella, prosciutto Parma Levoni & topped with mascarpone cheese after the pizza is cooked), as well as La Contadina (Fior di Latte mozzarealla, Italian gorgonzola, shaved parmigiano & pears). The crust on the latter is SOOOO buttery.
