...visit Citadel Park.

This is quite a pleasant little locals park with well-kept gardens, a few interesting sculptures and with the less common trees and shrubs identified with name plaques. I think there's a seasonal cafe/bar in the park but I couldn't find during my short visit.

This isn't really the sort of place to go out of the way for when visiting the city proper but for a digression whilst awaiting a train does make for a worthwhile meander.

Address: Citadel Park, St Pieters
Directions: Head left from the railway station and the park is about a five minute walk.
