"Comerica Park" Comerica Park Tip by rcsparty

Comerica Park, Detroit: 10 reviews and 28 photos

If you visit Detroit during the summer, a great day activity is to catch a Tiger game at Comerica Park. With all the restaurants and bars around the Stadium, as well as, in stadium activities, you can make a day out of the game. I usually take my girls down a few hours early to park and then have head to a local pub for lunch or dinner. Then we get to the stadium to enjoy all the in-stadium things, like the merry-go-round, ferris wheel and a number of other things to do.

The stadium opened in 2000, and is located right across the street from Ford Field (home of the Lions). It holds just over 41k people and there is not a bad seat in the park. We usually enjoy getting the terrace seats on the 1st level to make sure we have some shade in the sun or if it happens to rain, so cover from the rain. It is also an easy stadium to get to, with convenient parking.
