Six &Seven at Edgewater Hotel: "Amazing setting...and famous too!" Seattle Restaurant Tip by RAINBOWWINGS

Famous for having had The Beatles stay there back in the 60s, this perfect restaurant in this perfect hotel was to be the scene for my birthday celebrations.
Arriving at the busy bar we had our obligatory cocktail of the evening and I sampled the Pineapple Martini...a delightful pineapple infused vodka served with a chunk of fresh pineapple. delicious!!
We were shown to our table by the window overlooking the Puget Sound where we could watch the ships passing and see the gentle waves lapping at the pier supporting the hotel. It actually felt as if you were on a ship.
The waiting staff were excellent and very professional even when we were the last to leave the restaurant..no-one hurried us.

Favorite Dish: An extensive menu made the decisions difficult but I finally chose Willys Green, a beautiful arugula and asian pear salad followed by their famous Lobster Pot Pie which was to die for. Light pastry and huge tender chunks of lobster in a creamy sauce....excellent!
