"Kenwood House - Vermeer anyone?" London Off The Beaten Path Tip by jorgec25

The Kenwood House is located on the northern boundary of Hampstead Heath, so it's way of the centre.
The reason I first got interested and wanted to visit it was because it houses a painting by Vermeer (and also a self portrait by Rembrandt and some more beautiful paintings, to be exact).
But besides its interior, the gardens and fields around it are beautiful and if you have the luck to go there on sunny day, it's a great walk.
