Lukaszowka: "Try eastern Polish cooking" Suprasl Restaurant Tip by evaanna

If you want to try the eastern Polish cuisine, visit this restaurant. We had it recommended to us by the receptionist at the Museum of Icons but found it a little disappointing. The service was prompt and the food not bad, but the place did not look clean enough. The tablecloths were stained at places and I did not venture to go to the toilet after what Chris told me about its cleanliness or lack of it. The prices were too high for this kind of establishment.
Favorite Dish: We had pierogi with meat filling and found them pretty good, but the helping a little on the small side. The cabbage salad served with them was delicious.
Chris ordered Ukrainian barszcz (beetroot soup), which he said was excellent and he could have as much of it as he wanted as it was served in a large vase. He helped himself at least twice and did not fill his plate again only because he thought it would be bad manners. LOL
Comparison: more expensive than average
