Jewel of the North: "Good Western Breakfast Selection @ Reasonable $" Penang Restaurant Tip by chatterley

This shop sells Indian, Western and local food, e.g. lassis and Tandoori (Indian), Omelettes and Fish & Chips (Western), Char Kway Teow (local) and even Thai dishes. It is actually an Indian restaurant (and quite popular for their Indian dishes too), but lots of tourists also ordered from their Western menu.

We chanced upon this restaurant and there were quite a number of locals having breakfast / lunch / brunch here (probably due to the high prices of meals in the hotels). Our Western breakfast sets were pretty filling, and prices were reasonable (about RM 9 - 12). I had the mushroom omelette with chips while hubby ordered the bacon+omelette+baked beans+sausage set.

When we passed by at night, this place was packed with diners!
