"Chinatown" Chinatown Tip by acemj

Chinatown, San Francisco: 183 reviews and 334 photos

San Francisco's first Chinese immigrants migrated to the city in the 1850s and planted their roots firmly in the area that is now Portsmouth Sqare, the heart of Chinatown. The community spread out from this area to become one of the largest Chinatown's in the country with over 10,000 Chinese residents living here. Of course, it's a great place to grab an inexpensive bite to eat or buy some Chinese medicinal herbs.

Address: Grant Ave. and Bush St. San Francisco, CA 94101
