This museum is essential viewing for any overseas visitors and most Australians. Not a large museum , however it is packed with information on the Northern Territory, the Aboriginal People and their way of life, Aboriginal Art, prehistoric animals, sea creatures and a special exhibit on Cyclone Tracy which destroyed Darwin on Christmas Eve 1974.
Entry is free and there is a cafe for those who require light refreshments.
