The Opera from the Bay Bridge
by SirRichard

Sydney was my landing point so it was my first glance at the country. I arrived late at night so I went straight to the hostel. The next morning (early, as I was still under the jetlag) went walking from the Railway to the Harbour. I like empty morning cities and enjoyed a lot my walk across the early Sydney; had a cafe latte & croissant but the harbour was too far and I wanted to see the sunrise, so I took the metro to Circular Quay. Going out of the train, it was clody so I missed the sunrise, but the view of the harbour from there is still an unforgettable memory: the Opera at the right, the Bridge at the left, and the ferrys in between... seemed to me a magnificient view.
My later walks around the town just confirmed my sense of being in a very special magnetic city, focused in an incredible bay, the center of the web around whic I did my visit to the city.
