"Part of the Oldest Palace" Alhambra Tip by keeweechic

Alhambra, Granada: 218 reviews and 443 photos

The Tower is all that remains of one of the oldest palaces of the Alhambra complex and therefore is important. During the 19th century in the northern part of the Nasrid Palaces, much of the decoration of the Ladies Tower was destroyed due to new ownership and its conversion to a house. It was later that the Partal was sold back to the Spanish government.
