The main attraction to the park is the 26 acre lake. It has one stream feeding into it and one coming out of it. There is a nice swimming area, paddle boats for rent, and you can also fish for bass, catfish, bream and crappie. Entrance is $2 (weekdays) and $3 (weekends) for adults and $1 for seniors and children 6 to 11. There are also 4 group pavilions in the park if you are going there with a large group. They cost from $50 to $100.
There are several hiking trails throughout the 696 acre park. The one the ranger recommended, and that I hiked, was the trail to the falls. It was fairly short but steep at times and had rough footing. The falls was kinda nice though. Don't forget the bug repellant.
