Maid of the Mist, Niagara Falls: 97 reviews and 180 photos

Enjoyed wearing our blue poncho's to go up to the Falls. Cool, refreshing & just beautiful. The Maid of the Mist is a boat tour of Niagara Falls, New York, USA. The boat started off in a calm part of the Niagara River, near the Rainbow Bridge, and took us past the American and Bridal Veil Falls, into the dense mist of spray inside the curve of the Horseshoe Falls, also known as the Canadian Falls. The tour is available starting from the American side of the river, returning to the U.S. landing. The Maid of the Mist I was a steam wheel ferry from 1846, The VII is a 600 passenger diesel engine that set sail in 1997.
