This village is said to be as old as 300 years , the Scottish tourist board has kept the village traditional and you can even stay in some of the houses and one is actually a hostel. The village is beautiful and the views to the sea fantastic. A walk round the village will take you inside the cottages and see what life was like living and working in such a place.

Directions: Head for Carloway on Lewis and the village is well signed.
