Istanbul Warnings and Dangers: 274 reviews and 132 photos
Not the best advertisement for food, but Turkey is where I have experienced many TUMMY BUGS!
Usually when travelling, I have no problems, be here, it didn't seem to matter if it was street stall, take away shop or restaurant!
In Istanbul, after another spot of trouble, I found MCDONALDS, and felt this was the safer way to eat, which it was.
McDonalds I went to were at the Sirkeci Tram Stop. I sat upstairs by the window, and enjoyed the views and my meal.
The other one was by the Sultanahmet Tram Stop, once again, has upstairs and downstairs.
Its no fun in a strange city, having an upset stomach when you don't know where Toilets are located!
