Dolores Burritos: "California style burritos" Berlin Restaurant Tip by trvlrtom

Coming from California, I was just a little hesitant about going to a Cali-Mex restaurant in Germany. But my wife, after a few weeks away from home, was missing her favorite food, i.e., Mexican, which we enjoy on a regular basis at home. So we stopped by Dolores near the center of Madrid, just a few steps from Alexanderplatz. They dare to name this restaurant from the Mission Dolores in San Francisco, in the "Mission" district, so it better be good. Well, we weren't disappointed. While it isn't authentic Mexican food - it doesn't claim to be - the burritos we had we very tasty, with fresh ingredients. The restaurant was humming with patrons, so it seems quite popular, especially with younger people, in their 20s.
It's a nice, clean place. One wall is even a wall size diagram of the Mission District of San Franciso, streets we know well.
