"The kuntihistoriches museum..." KHM - Kunsthistorisches Museum - Art History Museum Tip by Venturingnow

  A dome in the museum

The kuntihistoriches museum is absoulutely fabulous! There are tons of great architectural exhibits, mosaics, and tons of paintings from some of my favorite artists. Even the architecture inside the museum is great as you can see by this photo. Its ground floor is mostly just decorative arts and the ancient world exhibits, there is a cool Egyptian, Greek and Roman collection. The fine arts section upstairs offers a nice variety of the German Renaissance. Artists notable in the museum are Cranachs, Altdorfer, Rubens, Durer, Rubens, as well as my favorite, Brueghel. Just a note, the opening Hours: Tue - Sun 10am - 6pm.
