Cany Bar: "Good fish and seafood" Portonovo Restaurant Tip by micas_pt

We went twice to this restaurant; food is good and the location is very pleasant. It is situated by a cliff overlooking the sea, and it is ideal for having some tapas at the end of the day or dinner.

We tried the "arroz con bogavante" - rice with seafood, similar to lobster. It costs 20 euros/ person and it was very good. They only cook this plate for at least 2 persons. Also, we tried the typical "pulpo a la galega" - octopus cooked in the Galician way with olive oil and paprika, quiet tasty and ideal for tapas. We also tried their "calamares a la plancha", which are fresh squids grilled and served with French fries, delicious!

Prices are just about average and location is superb, overlooking the sea.
