"When on Magnetic Island, I..." Brisbane Hotel Tip by Venturingnow

When on Magnetic Island, I highly suggest you stay at the Magnetic Island Tropical Resort. I slept in the budget and backpackers area, which has 8 bunks per cabin, just like the one in the picture. There's a toilet, sink, and tiny shower in each. There is also a more modern area, where the prices are higher, and there are such things as drywall and windows in the cabins
$55 for two people, or $25 each a night in a 4-8 person bunk house. Add $11 for each other person you bring. You can also add b-fast and other meals for a little more a day.

Unique Qualities: Great location and atmosphere. It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. It was cheap too. Animals running all over the place, birds chirping. There's a nice restaurant in the lodge as well.
