"Overland Bus Connections" Ostseebad Kühlungsborn Transportation Tip by Kathrin_E

Ostseebad Kühlungsborn Transportation: 7 reviews and 17 photos

Direct connections to Rostock are provided by overland buses. The ride takes about 70 minutes and buses run more or less hourly from early morning to not too late evening. The main bus line runs from Rostock bus station (behind the main train station) via Bad Doberan and Heiligendamm to Kühlungsborn and on to the fishermen's village of Rerik and vice versa. Then there is a second line to/from Bad Doberan via Kröpelin.
This bus is part of Verkehrsverbund Warnow, Verbund tariff, terms and conditions apply. Thus the bus is cheaper than a train connection via Molli and DB. A single ticket to Rostock is 4.30 ? (summer 2009).
The buses stop in front of the three Molli stations in Kühlungsborn: Ost, Mitte and West.
