Sydney Olympic Park is Australia's most important and diverse urban precinct surrounded by one of the largest urban parklands in the world. Each year more than 8.2 million visitors come to Sydney Olympic Park to enjoy the wide range of leisure, entertainment, cultural, sporting and educational activities.It has 9 major sporting, event and entertainment venues and parks which every person of any age can enjoy!

Aside from the huge expanse of greenery to enjoy, there are water features, children's playground, etc..not just the sporting venues to enjoy & which need an entrance fee. It is still possible to enjoy Olympic Park without paying any fees!

We love walking around the area as it is relatively safe, the facilities are clean and not so crowded as the crowds are usually in the other venues like ACER ARENA, ANZ STADIUM, etc..We are not sport lovers or watchers so walking around and exploring the many sights here are enough for us. We come here also for the regular Easter Show held every year which is held in the huge showground!

As it name suggests, this park was built especially for the 2000 Olympics which was a great success!
